The Nikon Coolpix L19 is the perfect budget camera for the novice or beginner photographer who is simply looking for a digital camera to capture social events or is looking for a simple to use camera that does not call for a great deal of experience to use. This lightweight camera produces excellent image quality and is by and far one of the most simplistic cameras available on the market today.
It is the cost of the Nikon L19 that draws most people to this camera. The price tag is generally under £100.00. However, don’t let this affordable price fool you. The picture quality of this camera is excellent! Where other like models create grainy photographs that have no depth and detail, the Nikon Coolpix L19 actually creates photo outputs much like the higher costing digital cameras on the market today.
However, it should be noted that if you expect to take advantage of preset features, then this is not the camera for you. The Coolpix L19 does not come with many menu options, which means you will have to use the general settings that come with the camera. Therefore, this camera is not for the professional photographer who likes to have complete control over their camera settings.
Another downside is the plain look of the camera. It comes in a single color and is not the most eye pleasing camera on the market. However, what the Nikon Coolpix L19 lacks in looks, it more than makes up for in picture quality and cost.
